I am a proponent of defining words and phrases. “Once” can span an hour or a year. “In one fell swoop” could mean a very long swoop. “Clothes” can mean “Clothes and other incidentals.”
Spring is in the air, so I’m all “why do I own anything?” And so begins the life-changing magic of cleaning out my closet.
